Tillmans's first record, and the first release on his own label, Fragile. The A-side has two new tracks: Make It Up As You Go Along, a deep house piece built from samples he recorded at a printing press, and Triangle / Gong / What. The B-side goes back thirty years, to three songs he recorded in 1986 with his friend Bert Leßmann in a rehearsal room in Remscheid, his home town: Fascinating This Time, Stranger and Time Flows All Over.

Music had run through his work from the start, in his photographs of club culture for i-D in the early 1990s. This EP began a run of records that has continued alongside the photographs. The cover and images are his.

Signed by Tillmans and dated at the New York Public Library, 5 September 2018.
